Wolverhampton: Lightscameraction

Wolverhampton Tip Lightscameraction

Ran a rapid 21.54s closing sectional on his last start, matching strides with the winner but started his run from further back.

Unbeaten Godolphin filly Wanting dominates the market but the 2.50 Wolverhampton isn’t a one horse race.

Lightscameraction has been competing in high quality races through much of his career but his last performance really stood out on the clock.

From a wide draw (seven of seven) Gay Kelleway’s colt was forced to race in rear at Lingfield. This proved to be a disadvantage as they early pace was steady (107.2% finishing speed) and the race turned into a 2f sprint.

Lightscameraction was unable to make up sufficient ground into a quickening pace but he still clocked a remarkable 21.54s closing sectional. Anything below 22s at Lingfield is useful and his sectional matched that of the winner Primrose Valley, who has scored again since.

I firmly believe Lightscameraction is a 100+ rated sprinter in the making and a step up to 6f looks ideal because he can get outpaced early in his races.

For a horse with such a devastating turn of foot, the quotes of 16/1 (Bet365) are an insult.
