Lingfield: Golden Rainbow
Bumped into Navello on debut at Brighton but clocked good speed rating in defeat. Clearly well regarded as 5/6f on debut. Has plenty of early speed and can gain quick recompense.
With soft ground in most going descriptions around the country I have sought refuge on the all-weather at Lingfield. Golden Rainbow was odds-on to win on debut at Brighton but bumped into Navello, who has since gone on to prove himself quite useful.
I doubt there is anything as good as Navello in today’s line-up and Golden Rainbow should win at a short price. The time of his Brighton run was good and he showed bright early speed which should help in a small field around Lingfield’s sharp track. The danger is Banner Moonshine but he didn’t look speedy on debut and Archie Watson’s juvenile could have it all his own way.
