Showed ability as a juvenile, including over this course and distance. Lost his was for most of 2021 but new connections could be making of him. Eye-catching at Southwell from poor draw.
For many the 3.25 Lingfield will be the last betting opportunity of 2021 but I think i’ve found a cracker. Elektronic showed ability as a juvenile, including when beaten a length over course and distance. On my speed ratings the remains his best performance to date; his 2021 campaign was largely disappointing but the switch to Mick Appleby could be the key.
Last time out he was only beaten 3 lengths from a high draw at Southwell. He will have found the 5f too sharp (back to 6f) and he didn’t help his cause by running into the backside of rivals for the best part of three furlongs.
Given that was his first start for new connections, it’s interesting that he’s returned to what I consider his optimum conditions. Rated 57, there is definitely a win in him.
