Nearing bottom of handicap mark and has a decent strike rate (5-35) for a horse of moderate ability. Ran two good races from bad draws on the all-weather and finally got some luck in stall 3.
Tracking a strong pace, posted wide from a bad draw is never a great way to run a race but Creek Harbour has been doing well in the face of adversity. He was only beaten 0.75 lenghts from stall 13 at Chelmsford and 3.75 lengths from stall 10 at Wolverhampton. Both races were run at a strong gallop and it is no surprise Creek Harbour lost places near the finish as he tired.
Finally he has bagged a good stall in gate 3 and he should capitalise. He’s got a decent strike rate (5-35) and a handicap mark of 55 is near the bottom of his mark. His last win came off 55 but has won off marks in the 60s. All considered he should run well in an average class 6 handicap.
