Lingfield: Capla Spirit
Has placed in both starts over course and distance this winter and fast finishing second to Impeach reads well. Has a decent draw and might just nick a tightly fought contest.
A trappy sprint rounds off the card at Lingfield but I think Capla Spirit is overpriced. He seems to get further nowadays and even ran well over 7f last time, so even though he is yet to win at 6f the trip is within his sphere.
He has placed in both starts over course and distance this winter and was a fast finishing second to Impeach, who has won since in a higher grade. A strike rate of 3/32 is slightly off putting but he is has placed in 11/19 starts in grade 5 company and rates a relatively low risk each-way play.
