Lingfield: Aberama Gold
Finishing the year strongly with impressive results on turf and the all-weather. Wins have been accompanied by big speed ratings and well berthed to stalk and pounce on the favourite.
Aberama Gold has hit top-form this autumn and looks the one to beat in the 1.25 Lingfield. His recent form reads 121 and all have come accompanied with good speed ratings. His handicap mark has gone up to 101 as a result but this horse won a Listed race as a juvenile so he has that bit of class.
Last time at Chelmsford he chased a strong pace but finished his race with gusto and I suspect similar tactics to be employed from stall 1. Premier Power should give him a good tow from stall 2 and leave the rest to Shane Gray who is 4/16 on the horse.
