Leicester Tips: Just Marion
Showed some ability on the all-weather and this is weaker than the claimer she contested eight days ago.
Just Marion finished last of eight when we tipped her at Windsor 8 days ago but is given a second chance.
Firstly, it is good to see she is stepped up to 7f because she could never go the gallop over a sharp 6f.
Secondly, the 4.00 Leicester is a much easier race. Again, she races in claiming company but this time in a race limited to her age group only.
The quality of opposition is also weaker. On ratings, the best horse in the race is rated 74 whilst at Windsor the winner was rated 90 with a further four horses rated 75-plus.
She showed enough ability on the all-weather to suggest she can win a little race and this isn’t a strong one.
