Leicester Tip: Kings Academy

Kings Academy wasn’t particularly well treated at the weights when third in a claimer at Kempton earlier in the month but it was a good run under the circumstances and connections have found a more equitable opportunity for him at Leicester.

Only one horse is rated higher than Kings Academy in the 2.35 Leicester but that horse is still a maiden. Paul Cole’s charge is a previous course winner and although he’s struggled when attempting 7f before, he is still unexposed at the distance.

Back in August he was an easy winner both visually and on the clock. He clocked the fastest closing sectional by 0.33s and earned an adjusted speed rating of 85. He’s potentially underrated and could be a good buy after the race.
