Leicester: Mums Tipple
Will forever be judged against his amazing York victory but has worked himself back into form on the all-weather. Returns to what I consider his optimum trip and has highest ceiling in the race.
Everything Mums Tipple ever does will judged against his demolition job at York in 2019. He’s never scaled those height since and 2020 was a complete washout. However, he’s been gelded and shown a return to form on the all-weather this winter.
He won a decent Listed contest at Wolverhampton (has penalty as a result) and then lost nothing in defeat on All Weather Finals Day, when second to Khuzaam. That was over a mile and he’s down in trip to 7f, which I believe will be his optimum.
There are no world beaters in what looks an open race and he has the highest ceiling to his ability.
