Kempton Tips: Welsh Inlet
Fastest finisher on her last start but couldn’t make the necessary inroads into a quickening pace.
Welsh Inlet has started to get further as she’s got older and is capable of winning at a mile in the 8.15 Kempton.
Last time out she was only beaten 2-lengths over course and distance and her performance deserves upgrading.
Held up in the last quartet, she struggled to reel in the leaders after they went an even gallop.
Welsh Inlet covered the final 3f in 35.7s, the fastest in the race but she couldn’t make up the necessary ground into a quickening pace.
On her third run back after a break, off a career low mark, she warrants respect at 10/1 (Bet365).
