Kempton Tips: Tafaakhor
Finished second five times and although frustrating he has ability. Second to Gilgamesh in March was impressive.
Tafaakhor has been a frustrating horse to follow, finishing second five times before finally breaking his duck in a poor Brighton maiden. It’s that profile that sees him installed at a double figure price but their is also some ability lurking.
Last time out at Lingfield he wasn’t beaten far despite not getting a clear run and I still can’t shake his excellent second behind Gilgamesh at Wolverhampton back in March.
I gave the 3-year-old an adjusted speed rating of 96 that day and although he’s not hit those heights since, I wouldn’t give up on him just yet. He’s well drawn, races off a fair mark and has the assistance of Jim Crowley this evening.
