Kempton Tips: Polar Kite

Polar Kite finished with his customary flourish at Kempton last time and a race must fall his way soon. 

Drawn in stall 12, he was forced to race in rear and over a sharp 6f he found himself further back than ideal, before lighting up the afterburners to finish a rapidly closing fourth.

You generally know what you are going to get with the 7-year-old, a slow start followed by a fast finish and although he can often look unlucky his sectionals prove he is in great heart.

Two starts back at Lingfield he again fluffed the start but flew home with the quickest closing sectional of the race.

Stepped up to 7f (5-time winner at the trip) he should find it easier to keep tabs on the leaders before employing his devastating turn of pace.
