Kempton Tips: Light From Mars
Has ability despite his years. Just failed to run down the winner last time in a fast time for the grade.
Light From Mars might be a 12-year-old but the fire still burns and it would be great if he could record a victory in the 8.15 Kempton.
He isn’t ideally drawn in stall 9 but Luke Morris rides him particularly well (3 wins, 5 places from 16 starts) and with a bit of luck he can get the gaps.
Last time out, he was one of the few horses to make headway off a solid gallop and was perhaps a touch unfortunate to lose by a neck having been hampered in the home-straight. An adjusted speed rating of 69 says he can still be competitive despite his advancing years.
