Record at track is 4111 and long layoff has hopefully cured his ills.
Howyadoingnotsobad makes his seasonal debut in the 2.25 Kempton but if it wasn’t for the long absence he’d be much shorter in the betting.
His record at the track reads 4111 and a crucially he has won in class 5 company before. It has been a while since his last win (August 2012) but that came at Kempton on a slow summer surface.
Whatever issues he’s had hopefully have been fixed during his layoff and rather than have a pipe-opener John Gallagher has pitched him straight into a winnable race at his favourite track. That in itself could be out biggest clue.
