Kempton Tips: Harley Rebel
Found himself too far back behind a steady pace last time but ran the fastest closing sectional.
Harley Rebel ran an excellent race on his handicap debut 19 days ago and he should be up to winning the 4.55 Kempton off a mark of 50.
Stepped-up in trip he found himself in completely the wrong position last time out. After a slow start he raced in rear behind a steady pace (finishing speed 110%) and was too far back to make a challenge.
Harley Rebel did well to make up ground into an accelerating pace and although he finished third he was the moral winner. He covered the final 3f in 34.9s compared to the 35.5s of the winner.
Saint Honore is another to take out of the race but Harley Rebel looks the one to be on at 7/2 (William Hill).
