Kempton Tips: Cheery Cat
A regularly winner against some horses with very poor strike rates. Raced better than his last two results suggest.
The top two in the betting for the 7.25 Kempton should be opposed at the current odds; Overwhelm and Blueberry Fizz have a solitary win between them in 37 starts.
Cheery Cat is a more regular winner, with 7 victories from 62 starts and attitude counts for a lot at this level. He has also shaped with promise on his last two starts at the track.
Only beaten 4.5 lengths when outclassed in a 0-70 handicap; he followed up with another 4.5 length loss, this time doing best of those that chased an overly strong gallop. Both runs were better than the bare form.
Well drawn in this weak 0-55 handicap, he is overpriced at 13/2 with Stan James.
