Kempton Tips: Archer’s Arrow

Kempton Tips: Archer’s Arrow

Ran to a mark of 94 when clocking the 21st fastest sectional at Wolverhampton from the last 8745 runners.

The point of Godolphin isn’t to land gambles or win moderate handicaps but they’ve really missed a trick by running Archer’s Arrow in a maiden. Rated 82, he is ludicrously well handicapped and on my ratings, is a 100+ horse.

Runner-up in three career starts, he was desperately unlucky at Wolverhampton last time. Josephine Gordon left her run too late having sat in midfield, whilst the winner got first run quickening off a steady gallop.

Archer’s Arrow covered the final 2f in a rapid 22.42s, faster than the winner by 0.44s and the 21st fastest closing sectional at the track from the last 8745 runners.

He is a potentially smart individual and should be suited by the step up in trip. It will take a very good horse to beat him.

SP Returned 5/4 therefore with Best Odds Guaranteed we get the bigger price.
