Kempton Tips: Aldeburgh
Record for Nigel Twiston-Davies is 1311 and overcame a steady early pace and trouble in-running to win last time out.
Aldeburgh has been in fantastic form since moving to Nigel Twiston-Davies and can win for the fourth time in five starts in the 7.15 Kempton.
Last time he scrambled home to win by a short-head but was better than the margin of victory.
He was quite keen during the early part of the race due to the steady gallop (110.1% finishing speed) and when the race developed into a sprint for home he was further back than ideal.
William Twiston-Davies suffered traffic problems but the horse was still good enough to win, covering the final 2f in a rapid 23.1s.
Den Maschine let the form down earlier in the week but Aldeburgh’s had a couple of extra days to recover and is a much younger horse.
He has already won in this grade and is a fair bet at 3/1 (BetVictor).
