Course record is 15311 and although he isn't hiding anything from the public his mark is down to a competitive level and he ran well two starts back at Chelmsford.
Lancelot Du Lac might be getting on in years but there was nothing wrong with his run when third at Chelmsford and he is down to a workable mark. Yes he was favoured by the terms of the Chelmsford run but it showed he could still perform under the right conditions.
Kempton is a track that has been kind to him in the past. His record at the Sunbury venue is 15311 and his two defeat weren’t by far. The danger in the race is a young improve like Buridan but otherwise everything else is quite exposed and at the prices Lancelot Du Lac ticks most of the boxes.
