Kempton Tip: Kingsley Klarion

Hasn't won for almost three years but down handicap as a result and shaped well since returning from 257-day break. Fastest closer from moderate draw over course and distance 6 days ago.

It’s been a long time between drinks for Kingsley Klarion, his last victory coming in January 2016 but he’s tumbled down the handicap as a result and should be up to winning in a low grade.

Seeming refreshed by a long summer break, the 5-year-old looks set for a productive all-weather campaign, a surface on which he’s won four times.

His most recent outing was over course and distance six days ago and he finished strongly from a wide draw. The pace was solid and no one covered the final 3f quicker than Kingsley Klarion. If he can stay closer to the leaders from a better draw, he can return to winning ways.
