Kempton Tip: Danzan
Two-horse race but a winner at 6f unlike his main rival. His close-up 8th place in the Group 1 Middle Park also reads well.
The 6.40 Kempton is a two-horse race and given I rate the top-two in the market 50/50 shots, the value is with Danzan at odds-against.
Arguably he has the stronger form, finishing 4.5 lengths behind US Navy Flag in the Middle Park and second in a valuable Doncaster sales race. He’s not got the proven all-weather form like Corinthia Knight but he’s run well at Wolverhampton on an artificial surface so he should handle it.
A winner at 6f, unlike his main rival he has form at this distance and he just edges it at the odds.
