Kempton Tip: Blue De Vega

I’ve remarked a few times how Robert Cowell’s string improve from their seasonal reappearance; we saw a much better run from Haddaf yesterday and Blue De Vega wouldn’t need to step up much on his Newbury run.

Fourth in the Epsom Dash last year I suspect that is his target again. Currently rated 91, he should get into the race so the question is whether connections want to protect his mark?

In a competitive sprint handicap division you risk finessing things too much, so try taking the wins wherever they occur, and this looks a good opportunity.
