Kempton: Tawleed

I had previously been a big fan of To The Bar; he ran a monster speed rating at Southwell and then was a wide margin winner at Wolverhampton but he disappointed in the Spring Cup. They went no early gallop and the winner caught the rest napping but To The Bar didn’t pick up like I thought he would. Perhaps it was just a luckless run but I cannot see him giving Tawleed 7lbs.

The Gosden gelding was an easy winner at Leicester on his last start having previously finished runner-up in two good quality maidens. He might need the run but equally he’s likely to have progressed and he doesn’t need to improve much to win.
