Kempton: Sassy Rascal
Has run two big speed ratings in defeat and the latest was luckless. Lost several lengths at the start, swung wide turning for home but finished with purpose.
Sassy Rascal and Bonita B are the horses to concentrate on for the 8.00 Kempton and the former can turnaround the 1.25 length deficit from Lingfield.
Sassy Rascal lost several lengths at the start and then Harry Davies swung very wide coming into the home straight. Despite this wayward path the filly finished strongly, enough to suggest she’d go close if breaking level on terms.
Kempton’s longer straight is therefore a positive and so is the booking of Tom Marquand.
