Kempton: Debit Card
Finished fifth in above average novices race at Wolverhampton. Chances compromised by wide draw but she clocked the fastest closing sectional; that reads well given the quality in the race.
Debit Card ran way above her odds when 5th at Wolverhampton last time. It looked an above average race on paper and the form has been franked with the fourth horse home and easy winner next time out.
The first four finished close together but Debit Card deserves to be rated alongside them. She was slowly into stride from a wide draw, she was too far back to feature in the finish but she kept to her task well, running the fastest closing sectional of the race.
She’s not had much luck with the draw again but this is a weaker race and Kempton’s long straight gives her more time to close if she gets shuffled back early on.
