Kempton: Al Khazneh
Has finished second three times but not lost anything in defeat. Has bumped into some decent sorts and speed ratings suggest he is useful in his own right. Handicapper given him a chance off 78.
Al Khazneh and Stung Game keep finishing second and now race each other off similair handicap marks. Someone is going to have to break the streak and Al Khazneh’s rate better.
He was beaten by the useful X J Rascal at Brighton, when possibly doing too much of the donkey work up front, previous to that he ran a big speed rating in defeat to Flag Flying at Goodwood, who we haven’t seen since but is probably a smart juvenile.
There’s not a lot to get down about with the Godolphin horse, he’s got a decent draw and useful claimer on board and a workable handicap mark.
