July Stakes Tips: Invincible Army
Fastest closer by 0.44s when winning over course and distance. Ease of victory points to improvement on already smart performance.
There is plenty of Royal Ascot form on show in the July Stakes, with Rajasinghe looking to add to his Coventry Stakes win. However, the horses that interests me skipped the Royal meeting.
Invincible Army took the more low-key option of a novice stakes race at HQ but he lit up proceedings. Quickening off a true gallop he was the fastest closer by 0.44s running out a comfortable 5 length winner. The ease with which he won suggested more to come therefore his adjusted speed rating of 90 has plenty of upside.
Unlike those who went to Royal Ascot we might not have seen the best of Invincible Army and he is already very good.
