Inaam Continues On Upwards Curve
Inaam could have landed a hat-trick with a bit better luck and arrives on the back of a big sectional adjusted speed rating.
Inaam is a much-improved horse this winter and can defy a rise in grade to win the 4.10 Lingfield.
The application of a hood and a switch to 7f has seen him finish 3151 but he could easily have a hat-trick of wins if he wasn’t hampered on his penultimate start.
Last time he was ridden more prominently than usual and recorded a career best win. Tracking a steady pace (108.3% finishing speed) he was posted wider than ideal but was still able to clock the fastest closing sectional.
Inaam won with an adjusted speed rating of 77, which suggests there is plenty of headroom in his mark. At 13/8 (William Hill) he is a solid bet.
