Hever Stakes Tip: Hareem Queen
Only has 1 length to find with the favourite and 3lbs better off at the weights. Progressive filly, who rarely runs a bad race and has the early speed to make and impact on this sharp track.
The Hever Sprint will be keenly contested with no outstanding sprinter in the field (although lots of very good ones). However, I cannot understand the price difference between Good Effort and Hareem Queen. The 4-year-old filly is 3lbs better off for a one length beating and that can easily be turned around at the gates with a better start.
On official ratings there is a fair gap between the pair but Hareem Queen is lightly raced and still improving. Her 5f record on the all-weather is 11231 and although she has been seen to good effect on the Fibresand I think she will handle the change to Polytrack.
She has the required early speed for this sharp track and is underrated by the layers.
