Haydock Tips: Storm Over
Quickened off a strong pace at Redcar and looked like a good horse in doing so. Lightly raced and 2/2.
Storm Over is the joint top-rated horse in the 2.55 Haydock and not only is he the best on official figures he might also be the best handicapped.
Robert Cowell’s sprinter is 10lbs higher than his last win at Redcar but it was a mightily impressive performance. He quickened off a strong gallop and showed an excellent turn of foot to run the fastest closing sectional by 0.52s.
Considering he was bumped early in the race and still looked a bit green it was a fine victory and one that earned an adjusted speed rating of 86, level with his current mark. He is 2/2 and likely to be progressive and can win again.
