Haydock Tip: Judicial

Ran a fine race in the Palace House stakes and was slightly unlucky to finish second, not helped by the draw. Form of the race is solid and this is easier.

We were slightly unlucky not to collect on Judicial last month at Newmarket, when finishing a neck behind Mabs Cross. Luke Morris committed his mount to go an collect Havana Grey but didn’t leave enough in the tank to fight off the closers up the nearside rail.

Tactics were shaped by the draw and on another day, from a different draw he could have won. My opinion prior to Newmarket was that Judicial could be a Group-class sprinter and nothing has changed. A fast 5f on quick ground is ideal and he’s capable of running some seriously fast times. Everything in this field is exposed and we can gain compensation.
