Hamilton Tips: Atlantic Affair
Had excuses for last two defeats and at her best on a slow surface.
Following Mark Johnston at Hamilton served us well with Polarisation winning last week and we can repeat the trick in the 2.50 contest.
Atlantic Affair has run well for most of the summer and although she’s suffered a couple of defeats recently, she still looks reasonably well handicapped.
Last time out at Chelmsford she had to work very hard to retain an early lead and paid for it at the finish, whilst she was struck into when last at Ripon the time before.
The ground is also a consideration when backing the 4-year-old. She is 0-14 on good to firm/artificial surface but 3/14 on going rated ‘good’ or slower.
She was an easy winner on soft ground at Newmarket three starts back (also a good speed rating) and can improve her trainer’s already excellent record at Hamilton this afternoon.
