Hamilton Tip: Dandy Highwayman
Set a fierce gallop on his reappearance at Ripon but still finished stronger than most. 4lbs rise manageable.
Dandy Highwayman won his first start after being gelded and might be a sprinter to follow.
At Ripon, he set an overly strong gallop, (96.3% finishing speed) but still had enough in reserve to run through the line and fight off the meandering Suitcase ‘N’ Taxi. That horse went on the emphatically frank the form at Pontefract, whilst Dandy Highwayman is only 4lbs higher.
His victory at Ripon earned him an adjusted speed rating of 87 and with improvement to come, he looks ahead of his handicap mark.
