Grendisar Due Change In Luck
Course and distance record is 21112322 and has run consecutive sub-22s closing sectionals in defeat.
Grendisar has a terrific record over 10f at Lingfield but he’s received a couple of moderate rides that I’m sure Adam Kirby will want to fix.
His course and distance record reads 21112322 and although he’s suffered recent defeats the cards haven’t fallen for him.
Last time out he tried to make up ground up the inside rail, usually the slowest part of the track and despite running a 21.98s closing sectional, he couldn’t make up the ground.
It was a similar story on the 14 November when he flew from the rear by running an eye-wateringly fast 21.57s closing sectional but the steady pace (110.3% finishing speed) meant those in front weren’t slowing.
We must accept that Grendisar is reliant on a true gallop but there is no doubting he is a top performer at this trip.
