Goodwood Tips: Pallister
Has been winning at 6f but his dam won the Yorkshire Oaks and likely to be suited by the step up in trip.
The Vintages Stakes (3.40 Goodwood) has become a Hannon/Hughes benefit in recent years but in Tupi they have the least experienced horse in the field.
Instead I prefer the battle hardened Pallister. He has been impressive this season and should improve for the step up in trip.
His dam won the Yorkshire Oaks therefore he’s done well to win at 6f with so much stamina in his pedigree.
His win at Pontefract was given a boost at the weekend when the fifth horse Olivia Fallow placed in a decent nursery and at 12/1 (William Hill) he looks a fair bet.
