His German form is underrated but he is a Group-class and travelled strongly when winning last time out over an inadequate 6f.
The market for the Lennox Stakes (3.05 Goodwood) is heavily skewed in favour of the two market leaders but both are opposable.
Toormore started the season with a big reputation but he’s been beaten fair and square on his last two starts and is going backwards.
Gregorian ran seemingly a career best when third in the July Cup but it was a weak renewal and he was flattered by being held up in a strongly run race passing tired horses.
Amarillo is a less fashionable runner but we are rewarded by a good price. The German raider is a previous Group winner in the UK and he looked backed to his best when winning in Hamburg at the start of the month.
At his best on fast ground, tracking a strong pace he should get both at Goodwood and is overpriced at 14/1 (Boylesports).
