Goodwood Tip: Lufricia
At her best racing over the minimum trip and went down fighting at Doncaster. Fast closing sectional helped her earn an adjusted speed rating of 91. Potentially still ahead of her mark.
Lufricia is a different horse when racing over 5f and but for losing in a head-bob at Doncaster she would be two from two. Even in defeat she showed plenty. Quickening off a moderate gallop, she battled hard with Queens Gift, with the pair covering the final 3f almost a second quicker than anything else in the race.
Adjusting for pace, Lufricia earned a speed rating of 91, which still makes her well handicapped off a mark of 87 despite the 6lbs rise. Queens Gift won on her next start boosting the form further.
The rapidly progressing Celsius is the danger but the pair are drawn next to each other and Lufricia might have the higher ceiling.
