Goodwood Tip: Celsius

When looking through pace charts, race don’t always go to plan but even if one or two horses change tactics I cannot see how the 3.45 Goodwood won’t be run at a solid gallop. I’ve got six front-runners on my list and i’m not sure how any of them can win. The race should set up for a closer and I think Celsius was the most likely winner anyway.

He scored over course and distance last August and has run well this season, winning at Haydock on his return. His only duff effort came over 6f and he was hampered at the start, so we can forgive that performance.

Last time out at Newmarket, he closed strongly to record an adjusted speed rating of 86 and he keeps churning out those big figures off a strong pace. We should expect another bold showing.
