Goldenfield’s At Chelmsford
Almost overcame an absurdly strong gallop at Wolverhampton but lost the race in the final strides. Compensation awaits.
Goldenfield looks a cracking bet in the 6.10 Chelmsford based on his last performance.
At Wolverhampton he tried to track a ludicrously strong gallop set by Jassur (in same race tonight) and whilst the later faded, Goldenfield kept running to the line only to be touched of by a neck.
Goldenfield’s finishing speed (93.5%) was much slower than par and granted a m ove even gallop he surely would have won.
He earned an adjusted speed rating of 67, which is ahead of his current mark and he should win at 11/4 (William Hill).
