Ivors Involvement has a moderate draw in the 4.40 Pontefract but if Liam Keniry can manoeuvre himself into the pack then he has a big chance.

The David Elsworth trained horse could only finish seventh on his last start but was only beaten 3.25 lengths and ran much better than the bare result.

At Newmarket the field fanned out across the track, unfortunately Ivors Involvement was marooned towards the nearside rail as the race (and pace) developed up the far side.

Liam Keniry beat everything around him comfortably but then had nothing to race with for the final 300 yards. If he had been positioned nearer the pace, he would have given the winner a fright because he ran the second fastest closing sectional of the race.

A mile looks his trip and if he can overcome the draw, he should run well at 7/1 (Paddy Power).
