Feast At Tableforten
Running well without much luck. Capable of winning in this grade.
Having backed him twice already, hopefully it will prove third time luck for Tableforten in the 6.40 Wolverhampton.
He first caught the eye on New Year’s Eve, when he blew the start at Lingfield but proceeded to run the final 5f quicker than anything else in the field.
On his subsequent start at Wolverhampton, he was beaten by the draw and forced to race wide throughout the race.
Last time out at Lingfield everything looked in his favour, unfortunately Bertie Blu Boy got loose on the lead and made all. Tableforten chased him home in second place and lost nothing in defeat.
If Josephine Gordon can get her mount well placed from stall 8 and we get at least an even pace then he should run well at 8/1 (Ladbrokes).
