Epsom Tips: Swiss Cross
Course and distance record is 1422 and runner-up in a better race on Derby day.
There doesn’t seem to be much early pace in the 7.10 Epsom and the race is there for the taking if Silvestre de Sousa rides Swiss Cross positively from stall 7.
Phil McEntee’s sprinter has finished 1422 in four starts over course and distance, including a good second last month on Derby day.
Swiss Cross couldn’t live with Ashpan Sam, who might turn out to be a Group sprinter, but he beat everything else on merit. At 2/1 (Betfred) he is a solid bet.
