Epsom Tips: Huntsmans Close
Not beaten far in competitive handicap at Goodwood despite suffering minor interference. Has won on heavy ground.
Huntsmans Close has run a couple of crackers recently and he should run well again in the 3.25 Epsom.
Two starts back he finished a close third over course and distance when beaten by 1.25 lengths.
It was an impressive performance because his finishing speed of 111.4% was indicative of a steady early gallop and racing in rear he was left with too much ground to make up on the winner.
Last time out he was only beaten 2.25 lengths in a competitive handicap at Goodwood despite suffering minor interference.
He’s won on heavy ground so he should handle conditions and looks a solid bet at 3/1 (Stan James).
