Elusive Hawk is a five-time course and distance winner and is capable of adding to his tally in the 4.05 Southwell.
He is the top rated horse in the field by some distance and is an example of how effectively David Evans uses sellers to find winning opportunities.
On his last start Elusive Hawk finishing third of three but he was only beaten 3.25 lengths and wasn’t helped by going a strong gallop over a trip that stretches his stamina.
Back in September we wasn’t beaten far in a class 4 handicap, which shows he still retains enough ability to comfortably beat moderate opposition.
