Getting some back type might seem far-fetched but Powerful Dream has ability and there is more the come.
Ron Harris was ridiculed on social media when he suggested Powerful Dream could gain some black type in future but he might not be far off the mark.
The 3-year-old has a long way to go from winning a class 6 handicap to Listed class but her best days are certainly ahead of her.
Her win at Wolverhampton nine days ago was quietly impressive. She tracked a solid pace and quickened well to clock the fastest closing sectional in the race by 0.4s.
Her sectional adjusted speed rating of 64 is ok but bear in mind this was her first start for 7 months and the family get better with age.
She races in the same grade in the 5.10 Lingfield and apart from Hot Stuff there isn’t much to worry about amongst the opposition.
