Doncaster Tips: Jaywalker
Raced prominently in a strongly run handicap at Redcar and not beaten far under the circumstances.
Jaywalker ran a rock-solid race in defeat at Redcar 19 days ago and in a similar type of race he can make his presence felt again.
A feature of these big sprint handicaps is often the strong pace and that went against him at Redcar. Duran Fentiman sat too close to an overly generous gallop, resulting in a finisher slower than par.
Under the circumstance Jaywalker did well to finish a length behind the winner, with the other pacesetters faring less well. If Duran Fentiman can conserve more energy for the finish, he could run out the winner.
