Doncaster Tips: Fun Mac
Has rock solid form and gets a 7lbs pull with Clondaw Warrior for a half-length defeat.
Fun Mac has been a deeply progressive individual over the past 12 months and he can crown his ascent with victory in the 3.05 Doncaster.
In his last five starts he has finished 22122 but it’s his second place at Royal Ascot that reads particularly well.
He finished half a length behind Clondaw Warrior that day but is 7lbs better off at the weights, whilst Clondaw Warrior also has to bounce back from a poor effort in the Ebor last time.
This doesn’t look like the strongest Group 2 on paper and Fun Mac has good speed ratings to back up his rock solid form. He is the one to beat.
