Cigars Out For Humidor

Cigars Out For Humidor

Humidor finished a luckless ninth in the Dash but would have gone close granted a clear run.

Double Up is the horse to beat in the 4.20 Newmarket but he’s a skinny price in a competitive race and that creates value throughout the field.

Humidor hasn’t done much wrong this season and certainly shouldn’t be 14/1 with Bet365.

Last time out he was beaten 4.75 lengths in the Epsom Dash but his race was spoilt by a slow start.

Forced to race in rear, Pat Cosgrave couldn’t plot a path through the pack and on at least two occasions was stopped in his run. Granted a clear passage he would have gone close.

On his previous start at 5f, he won well at Goodwood and recorded a good speed rating in the process. Since the start of last year, his record at 5f is 5134319 and although one of those victories was voided due to a false start, he shouldn’t be underestimated.
