Chester Tips: Kachy

Chester Tips: Kachy

Experiment of stretching his stamina to 7f failed but he’s still an exciting sprinter. Won the Group 2 Molecomb stakes over 5f last year.

Kachy showed great speed as a two-year-old so it wasn’t a complete surprise when he struggled over 7f on good to soft ground at Newmarket. The experiment failed but he’s still an exciting prospect.

Last year he won on debut over course and distance and then ran a fast time when taking the Group 2 Molecomb stakes at Goodwood.

He should get a good tow into the race and from stall 3 Richard Kingscote can adopt a stalking ride.

Kachy has to give weight to all his rivals but a rating of 105 isn’t too bad for a Group-class sprinter and he should be up to winning the 3.45 contest.
