Chester: Navello

Came from hopeless position to win at Wolverhampton and a lot more professional when easy winner at Brighton. Time quicker than class 4 handicap on same card and achieved with ease.

Navello is the only horse with three runs to his name but he is a rapidly improving colt. At Wolverhampton he came from a hopeless position, 7.5 lengths down with 3f to go and won and he learned plenty for that experience. At Brighton eight days ago he was much more professional, handling the awkward track to runaway a comfortable winner.

The time was 0.13s quicker than the preceding 4yo+ class 4 handicap (both winners carried 9-7) and Navello was only pushed out to win. This is comfortable the best field he’s come across but he’s got the plum draw in stall 1 and his form is good, despite coming at unfashionable venues.
